Passion for Pictures
I mean it all really started in the most unrealistic way possible. It wasn’t my love for art or anything like that which initially got me into photography…. It was a business opportunity. About 3 years back, I was working as in instructor for the number one company in the world (hint hint). My life came crashing down in. I lost my job, my girlfriend, and for a while my dignity. I started working as an intern for a local recording studio. In exchange for a space to work I would do odd jobs like make flyers, or single covers for the artist who came in and recorded. I figured it was a good opportunity to get my foot in the door with something new. And I was right! I started getting more business and people started asking me if i could do more things. One of my friends was into photography and i thought it was cool as fuck the first time I saw him do a photoshoot. He had the model show up. Fill out her contract. And the creative process is was then started to entice me. I would borrow equipment from the studio to start doing my own photoshoots. I would shoot, street festivals, farmers, markets, my sister, anything and anyone. I learned this photography thing had a science behind it. And i was compelled to learn it.
